Duane Peters Is joining Mike Vallely On his Glory Bound Skatepark Tour
Today, MIKE V announces the addition of fellow skateboarding icon “The Master of Disaster” Duane Peters to the summer trek. Peters will join Vallely as well as street skating legend “The Nomad” Bill Danforth plus Kristian Svitak, Ben Raybourn and Cyril Jackson on every stop of the impending tour.
“Duane Peters epitomizes everything I love about skateboarding…style, attitude and originality,” said MIKE V in a statement. “He’s my absolute favorite skater of all-time and his skating is as relevant today as when he started. Having him join me on my tour is a true honor and I know an entirely new generation of skaters will be inspired by this true icon and his skating.”
“Times are hard on everybody right now and people gotta remember we are Americans and will not submit our freedoms for anything!” commented Peters. “We are Skaters! We are Free! I’m so stoked to be a part of the Glory Bound Tour! You only live once, so come out and skate with us!”
The month-long tour, which features a skate demo and fan participation like no other is kicking off on July 18 in Mesa, Arizona and concluding in Simi Valley, California on August 18.
A new stop on the tour has been added in Plano, TX at Eisenbergs Skatepark on July 20th and don’t forget Louder Than Hell will be on the tour to DJ and keep the skating fueled with crucial tunes.

MIA
Been a while since we've had a chance to update the Blog. It's been a busy past couple of months. Pedro was out in May for the ProTec Pool Party, hot off his last win at the Bondi Bowl A Rama. Pedro continued his pool annihilation qualifying 1st going into the finals. They changed up the skating format this year, getting rid of the Jam and it definitely changed things up. Pedro ended up 4th when the dust had finally settled over the Combi. In the masters Duane Peters and Ben Schroeder were out for blood. Ben didn't make it through to the finals, but DP did in classic style. DP laid it all on the line hanging on to everything he tried. With Frontside Rocks, Invert reverts, Sweepers, Fastplants, Fakie Footplants, BSA, FSA, Backside Ollies and more, DP took 4th in a tight final.
