been filmimng for his upcoming documentery LOOPED.

Vans Combi Pool Makeover

Vans finally stepped up and did what they have been talking about for the last couple of years. The lumpy, slippery, deadly Combi Pool has had a makeover! It's now buttery smooth, and you can turn at speed with no fear of sliding out! It's taken some of the gnar out of the beast and made it a much easier pool to ride, should make for a great Pro-tec Pool Party this year!

Pedro Barros Officially Turns Pro with a Bowl Bash RTMF Style!

On Saturday March 27th 2010 the Barros family had a Bowl-BQ RTMF Style to celebrate Pedro Barros Officially turning Pro.



Pedro invited his friends for a skate session in his backyard bowl at his house in Florianópolis. In true Brazilian style Barros still found time to man the barbecue for the crowd of supporters.

The party was a blast with sun, beer and skating all day long. Since it wasn’t a competition everything went off without any pressure. Skaters were ripping throughout the day, each time a skater hit a good line he earned some cash, and by the end of the day everyone went home with some money. There was a lot of positive energy during the session and once again Florianópolis entered into the history books of skateboarding in Brazil, thanks to the RTMF crew.

Clash At Clairmont IV

On Saturday March 27th the 4th annual Grind For Life Clash At Clairmont went down. Everyone from Duane Peters, Tony Hawk, Tory Pudwill, Steve Caballero, Jake Duncombe, Lincoln Ueda and many more all came out to support Mike Rogers and Grind For Life! There were killer sessions happening all over the park from the Vert, to the Street, to the Pool. PPS riders Duane Peters, Cookihead, Jake Ruter, and Keith B showed up, and shredded throughout the day. DP was on a tear yesterday starting off on the vert ramp with a launch off the love seat quarter up to the deck of the big extension to invert revert back in, Insane! In the pool he was pulling out all kinds tricks, Fast Plants, Fakie Ollies, Layback Roll Outs, Invert Revert, Invert To Truck, Sweepers, Backside Ollies, Backside Airs, Lien Airs, Frontside Rock n Rolls, and more. Jake was cruising feebles half way around the deep end, Fontside Ollie to smith bash to revert, and long rock n roll sliders kept him in the mix. Here's a couple pics from a killer day for a killer cause.

PEDRO BARROS & DUANE PETERS:Pedro Takes The Florida Bowlriders to make it 4 in a row!

Pedro Barros has been on a mission this year winning every event he's been in! The Florida Bowlriders Cup was no different, with Pedro sweeping both the Secret Spot and the Kona Pool events, RTMF! Duane Peters Was also out for the Bowlriders Cup and managed a 4th at the secrect spot against the locals. Early rains shut down the Kona event, so DP had to bail from the hostage situation at the park. Later on the rains stopped and they managed to get the bowl dry, but DP had already called it a day and had to pass on skating the Kona contest. Here's some photos shot by Lee Leal.

Pocket Pistols is stoked to welcome Duane "The Master Of Disaster" Peters to the team!



We have new DP models in the works and will keep you posted on there delivery date. Duane has been busy with lots of new projects. Check him out in this recent short film Steak & Eggs.



You can also catch him in this trailer for theGumball 3000 a crazy 3000 mile race across the US. Duane has a new band project, The Great Unwashed, they are currently recording and planning some tour dates, keep tuned for more.
